Maintenance...

 

 

Every two weeks,

  • Balance the water.
    Total Alkalinity 30-90 ppm (DO NOT allow the Total Alkalinity to go over this level)
    pH 7.2-7.6
    Calcium Hardness – 175 to 275 ppm**
    SpaGuard    ® Water Balancers  such as pH Increaser, Decreaser, Total Alkalinity Increaser, Spa Sentry, Calcium Hardness Increaser are 100% compatible with Pristine Blue®.  All SpaGuard® Cleaners cleaners & accessory chemicals such as Spa Silken are also 100% compatible.
     

  • Test PristineBlue® (copper) level and add PristineBlue® according to the table below.
     

  • Add 5 milliliters of Pristine Clean® per 100 gallons of spa water. (2 oz. per 500 gallons)
     

  • Shock the spa with Pristine Extra

Every 3 to 4 Months:

  • Drain, clean, polish and refill spa or hot tub based on usage.

  • Repeat start up procedures

** Special Note:
If using SpaGuard® Spa Sentry, DO NOT balance the Calcium Hardness.  Spa Sentry will take care of this.  Also, DO NOT turn on the spa or hot tub's heater until the water has cleared through filtration or add Spa Sentry AFTER the water has reached its normal operating temperature.
